A true soul singer whose sound is rooted in Jazz, Blues and R&B. For Michelle, music is the art form that connects all things - people, emotion, and the world around us. Driven to write, perform and improvise, each song expresses a spirituality and desire to keep moving, learning and creating.
Steady and soulful, the danger of going off the beaten path is where Michelle comes into her own. While she has been singing for decades, Michelle is a relative new-comer to the St. John's music scene. Her work continues to make an impression with the imaginative Soul Jazz Funk project The Resolution, and the eclectic jazz and folk duo, Elle & B. Recent performances also include singing with other well-known local musicians in the Co-video Collective and as a trio with pianist Wade Pinhorn and bassist Kenny Alimi. Always refining her art, Michelle is currently songwriting for various projects.
